Social programme
Bucharest is the capital of Romania, a city with rich history and interesting monuments. There are many possibilities for spending your free time in the old city, such as visiting museums, or having a traditional dish in the local restaurants, etc.
Conference participants and accompanying persons are invited to join:
- The Welcome reception will take place on Thursday, June 20th at Hanu’ Berarilor (Casa
Soare) situated on Poenaru Bordea Street, nr. 2, just 10 minutes walking distance from the
Hotel Europa Royale where the registration desk will be placed. The reception is scheduled
from 19:00 to 21:00. All participants, accompanying persons and sponsors are welcome to
the reception.

- The excursion on Sunday, June 23, 2013, to the salt mine at Slanic Prahova and to the Mud Volcanoes near Berca, Buzau county. Be sure to wear appropriate clothing and
footwear.
The departure hours are 07:00 from Magurele, Magurele Hotel and 07:30 from Bucharest,
Europa Royale Hotel.

- Conference dinner will take place on Sunday evening, starting at 20:00, at “Hanul Manuc”
restaurant, situated on 62 Franceza Str., Bucharest, just opposite to Europa Royale Hotel entrance. The Voievodal Saloon will host the participants for the Conference dinner until
midnight.
